There are two ways to obtain information on a reserve officer's training records at POST; Electronic Data Interchange (through his or her agency) or by a written request to POST. This information is known as a Peace Officer Profile and provides provide a history of an individual's California law enforcement employment, POST professional certificates, and POST-certified training.

Agencies participating in the POST Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) System may immediately access Profiles for agency personnel over the Internet. Agencies may not access information on individuals who are not members of that department.
